I have been to a lot of shops in my 34 years in sf. I sized them up damn carefully too before using them. In 2000 I moved to Bernal and neded a new shop. I found Bill and Wayne (B&W). I'm done looking. This is the best shop I have ever worked with. No bs. They have grown for a good reason. Hi-end complex repairs w/late models, old models, foreign, domestic or oil changes its all routine on the Bill and Wayne show. Nice employees too.Richard Everett

I go here for all my oil changes. It's always done almost faster than I can get back to pick up the car, usually within an hour or two. My car often sits there waiting for me!When I had a leaking power steering tube, they fixed it fast and at a reasonable price, I thought. Having an older car saves me a ton on payments and insurance and it's good to have a place that will keep it running. I think they can fix everything, not just brakes and wheels.If you're near this neighborhood, this is the way to go.

Come for the oil change, stay for the clutch replacement.I've been going to B&W for six years. Always get a fair deal, prompt service, and most importantly the repairs are precisely what's been needed to maintain my car - never charged for anything extraneous. They even recommended an excellent body shop, when I had to find a good one.I drive over from the Richmond, so that should give you an idea of how much I trust these guys.

I've taken my cars here for the past 12 years as these guys are good, honest, fair. They aren't inexpensive, but they are definitely fair. I have even brought my car in for something they finished quickly, in five minutes, and they didn't charge me anything. The negatives are that they don't have long hours and are not open at all on weekends, which is very difficult to manage with my work schedule.

I drive across town to take my car here. B&W are honest, have great service, and great communication.

I have been coming to B&W for at least 15 years through 3 cars. I have always been highly satisfied. I have come to them with some really dicey situations like the time I went to one of those quick lube places and due to unfamilarity with my car they took off and put the transmission fluid reservoir back on incorrectly. I took my car in to B&W and they found the problem. The car was only a few months old and this could have caused major damage. They are pretty quick with service and have never tried to convice me to get unnecessary things done. They say things like you have 3,000 miles left on your brake pads, you only need front brakes. Confidence is really important to me since I do a lot of driving and I am always confident that they are taking care of things. I have referred several of my friends to them.
