If you are a car enthusiast like us here at B&W Service Center, we recommend you check out The New York International Automobile Show. The show features an eclectic mix of new vehicles from manufacturers both domestic and foreign, including concept cars, alternative fuel vehicles and the 2013 car of the year.

Founded in 1900, the New York International Automobile Show became North America’s first automotive exhibition. For over a century, it has consistently pioneered a tradition of bringing innovative automotive ideas to a world stage. Within the last decade, the show has increased the amount of vehicles it presents, heightened its media attention and broken attendance records. Due to the fact that New York is one of the nation’s largest markets for new car and truck sales, the International Automobile Show has become one of the most important automotive events in the world.
In addition to being a world-class public show, the New York International Automobile Show has branched out adding a multitude of events to its repertoire. Today, nearly 100 individual events, conferences, industry forums, symposiums, award ceremonies, roundtables and parties take place during the Show’s press preview week in addition to the more than two-dozen press conferences hosted by the automakers.

Celebrating its 113th anniversary, the New York International Automobile Show has become North America’s largest attended auto show. The show features more than 1,000 vehicles plus the latest in safety, innovation and tech, showcased in the 900,000 sq ft Jacob Javits Convention Center. With virtually every car model sold in the US under one roof, consumers are given the opportunity to see everything the auto industry has to offer.

The Show lasts for over a week, from March 29th till April 7th, and is quite affordable with ticket prices ranging from $15 for adults to $5 for children.
